About Sara

Matters of the soul, the soul world, and especially how to discover the soul’s purpose, have held a deep fascination for Sara since early childhood.

In the late 1970’s, this fascination, and Sara’s love of singing, led her to study sound and colour healing. She found a teacher who taught singing through the chakras, using the frequency and vibration of sound and colour to heal.

In the years to follow, Sara was introduced to and practiced TM (Transcendental Meditation) and Transmission Meditation, took courses in parapsychology, and studied the Edgar Cayce and A Course in Miracles materials, in depth. She trained in numerous energy healing methods, eventually, becoming a Certified Reflexologist and Certified Advanced EFT Practitioner.

All of this also served as fodder for a comic strip she created about the humourous perils and pitfalls of her soul journey, called "Lighten Up". Sara also wrote and illustrated a fairy-tale for all ages, called 'Rhadra and the Rainbow Fish', a tale which she was later to discover, was in fact the story of her own soul's journey, told in allegory and symbol.

In 1991, Sara, her husband and 2 young sons, made a life-changing move from Ontario to BC. The ensuing prolonged period of difficult and profound home-sickness dramatically influenced her soul journey, and eventually resulted in the creation of an anthology collection of short stories by Canadian writers entitled: “Holy Ground, Women’s Stories of the Sacred Landscape of Home.”

Sara also developed and taught courses on Discovering Your Soul’s Purpose, which were later re-shaped into curriculum, intended for graduating secondary school students, and corporate training modules on retail sales and marketing through ‘True Service’.

In the mid 1990's, after the birth of her 3rd son, Sara heard the ‘call’ to serve through some sort of ministry, and was guided to enroll at UBC's Vancouver School of Theology to study Spiritual Direction, based on the ancient Celtic spiritual tradition of ‘Anam Cara’, or ‘soul-companioning’, and deep listening for the soul's voice.

Later, a marital crisis led Sara on a deep and profound purification journey through Forgiveness, which eventually led to the healing of her marriage, and a renewed conviction and desire to serve God and humanity more.

In 2009, the book “Soul Wisdom” caught Sara’s eye at a local book store, and it was then she discovered the powerful soul healing practices and teachings of Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha. The Divine had shown her a way to serve more, and she began attending classes with Master GK Khoe, Master Thai Siew Liang and Master Peter Hudoba in Vancouver.

Through her regular studies of Master Sha’s wisdom and practices with these wonderful teachers, Sara is blessed to have become a Certified Divine Healing Hands Practitioner, and a Divine Soul Healer and Teacher. She holds a weekly Soul Power group in West Vancouver, and is extremely honoured and grateful to have been accepted into the training program to become a Divine Channel.

All of this has run parallel to Sara’s formal education and career in Arts and Culture. Sara currently serves as the Executive Director of a non-profit community arts organization in West Vancouver, where she does her best to apply Soul Power, and spread Love Peace and Harmony in her community, through her organization’s programs and services.
